If you loved these simple DIY beauty recipes try making these easy switches with your regular beauty products at home to cut out the chemicals and opt for a more natural and inexpensive beauty routine.
- Switch your body moisturizer for organic coconut oil – coconut oil is super hydrating and smells delicious.
- Make-up removers have all kinds of nasties hidden inside. For a natural alternative try coconut oil.
- Rather than purchasing your favourite fragrance, try using essential oils instead. The best bit is you can combine your different oils to create your own personal scent.
- Organic Apple Cider Vinegar is a great facial toner and is great for blemishes.
- Makeup – ladies if you are a dedicated makeup user and the thought of stepping outside without your face on sends you into a sheer panic, then i suggest you try using a mineral makeup instead. Mineral makeup is gentler on the skin containing less binders, parabens and other harmful ingredients. They also contain minerals that are beneficial to the skin, allowing it to breathe naturally without clogging pores. Make sure that the mineral bases you are choosing are fragrance and preservative free.
