Also, The Hallmark Channel have teamed up with The Best Friends Society to help homeless pets find loving homes. Best Friends Animal Society’s Strut Your Mutt may just be the most fun you can have helping to save the lives of homeless dogs and cats in your neighborhood – and around the country. The annual series of fundraising dog walks and festivals in 14 cities across the country culminates in fun for four-and two-legged participants of all ages. Those who can’t attend a live event can still make a difference for homeless pets by participating online and helping to save lives. What are you waiting for?

You Will Need:

• picket fence
• dorr hinges
• gate latch
• screw driver/gun
• jig saw
• sandpaper

How To:

1. Use pre-existing picket fencing and cut to size of the width of your door/opening (picket fencing comes in 6ft or 8 ft lengths)

2. Use a screwdriver to attach a sliding latch to outside of gate/fencing

3. Use screwdriver to attach hinges onto the rest of the gate, attach to wall
