These Sweet & Salty festival inspired looks are for the girl who wants to free her spirit. Fashion is all about having FUN so embrace new looks and step outside your comfort zone.
Most of us spend the majority of our time in either a uniform of some sort or conservative corporate clothing. Free your body and your spirit with these sweet and salty looks. We have free flowing and frilly for those who want to ditch the polo shirt and feel girlie for the day or show off your bod with a cute backless number like in our Salty look.
Sweet
This flirty and feminine mini from For Love & Lemons is super sweet for your holiday parties. The embroidered lace detailing is complemented by a pretty pink floral print lining. Pair this little number with a pair of nude booties or to really make a statement, we opted for these gorgeous blue suede booties.
To complete the festival look, add a little pink chalk to the ends of your hair. You can pick up hair chalk from your local pharmacy but if you love it as much as we did, you can commit with a PULPRIOT BLUSH color. PULPRIOT is an amazing brand and has so many fun colors to choose from; we kept with the soft pink theme, especially for Paige who loves her pink! We think this look was more than fitting, stylish and sweet, just like the girl wearing it!
Salty
This outfit is fun, festive and perfect for the girl who isn’t afraid to show a little skin especially while the weather is still warm and we are right in the middle of season transition. The back detailing of this ivory lace bodysuit is just downright dreamy and the gauze ruffles keep the look soft with just enough edge to turn heads. We paired this pretty piece with our favorite denim shorts of all time – by One Teaspoon. Seriously, once you’ve tried these perfectly trimmed jean shorts you will have a hard time sliding any other denim onto your body. Add a nude bootie and you’re good to go.
Of course to keep in theme with matching your bestie, I added some blue hair chalk to the ends of my hair and the dream of having mermaid hair became an instant reality. Top this ensemble off with a pop of red on your lips, my favorite is Gash by Urban Decay, for an edgy finish to this festival inspired look.
Two different looks to transition you from Summer to Fall, while the weather is still warm for both your sweet and salty side.
