Looking for a delicious fall smoothie recipe? Well I’ve created the Perfect Pear smoothie with just the right blend of goodness that it almost tastes naughty!
You will need:
- 2-3 pears
- 1/2 banana
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1 cup filtered water
- 3-4 dates
- 1-2 cups spinach
- tsp raw honey
- cinnamon
- nutmeg
How To:
- Put all the smoothie ingredients into the Vitamix 2L container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Select Variable 1. Turn the machine on and quickly increase the speed to 10, then override to High.
- Use tamper to effectively press the ingredients into the blades if required whilst processing.
- Blend for 60 seconds or until desired consistency is reached. If you would like you smoothie mix thicker you can add in your macadamias now and blend until smooth.
- Stop the machine, poor into your glass and top with crushed walnuts, raw honey, chopped pear & sprinkle a little cinnamon on top and enjoy!
Pear & Walnuts … it’s a match made in heaven!
