I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again … it’s Wedding Season!!! I love wedding season and in just a couple of days Jason and I will be celebrating our One Year Wedding Anniversary! Can you believe that it has been one year since I walked down the isle in front of all of you to say I-Do to the man of my dreams? Time certainly flies. So with wedding season in full swing I am taking a walk down memory lane and remembering one of my favourite parts of the wedding process …. CAKES!

If you know me well you know I am sucker for all things sweet, so when it came to cake tasting I was all over it. Jason and I were also lucky enough to have one of the best in the business taking care of us for our special day … if you haven’t already heard of them, look them up … Hansen’s Cakes. They are behind the scenes creating some of the most beautiful and delicious cakes a gal could dream of for her special day so I met up with Mr. Hansen himself to talk Wedding Trends 2016. Let me tell you, I am all emoji with love heart eyes for this seasons Wedding Cake Trends.

The three biggest Wedding Cake Styles you are going to see this year are Ruffles, Metallic & The Naked Cake! But you already knew that because if you are all over the social media you would have been browsing pinterest and Instagram for #weddinginspo and had yourself in a double tapping frenzy!
